MONDAY NOVEMBER 12:  PALM COAST, FLORIDA
Flagler College and the Coquina Crossing Homeowners' Association program in honor of St. Johns County veterans, 5 p.m., Flagler College auditorium, 14 Granada St., St. Augustine. Includes tributes, the PBS-filmed and Flagler College students edited documentary Serve & Protect, a USO Canteen, comedy and swing music from the All Star Band. Speaker is Giles McCoy of Palm Coast, a survivor of the USS Indianapolis. Free. (904) 829-0381.

MONDAY NOVEMBER 12:  ROCHESTER, MN

Scott Hosier World War II Roundtable.

The guest speaker is Erwin Hensch, a survivor of the sinking of the USS Indianapolis.  The program is at 7 p.m. at Christ United Methodist Church in Rochester

SATURDAY NOVEMBER 10:  TACOMA, WA
One of the last survivors of the sinking of the USS Indianapolis will help tell the ships tragic story beginning at 2:30 p.m. at the Auburn Performing Arts Center, 700 East Main St. Admission is free.

Are their any survivors left today from the U.S.S. Indianapolis? I just finished reading the book by Doug Stanton and it would be an honor to meet any if they are ever in the D.C. or Northern Virginia Area.
