With Veteran's Day being in November, the requests for the USS Indianapolis presentation have been quite overwhelming. Thank you to all who have contacted me. I'm sorry that we can't be 30 places at one time.
If you live on the East Coast, well, this year is your chance to shake hands with the heroes of the USS Indianapolis and their rescuers.
On November 10th the USS Indianapolis presentation will be given in Dahlgren, VA (30 miles south of Washington DC) at the Navy's Aegis Training Center. In attendance will be Peter Wren (rescuer from the USS Bassett) and Jim Belcher Jr (his father was an Indy survivor. Jim is phenomenal at paying homage to the men and their story)
On November 11th and 12th, Mr. Wren, Mr. Belcher, and I will join Paul McGinnis (survivor), James Jarvis (survivor), and Felton Outland (survivor) for 2 presentations at the College of the Albermarle in Elizabeth City, NC.
On November 13th, It will be an honor to give the program with Mr. Don Blum (survivor) and Mr. Bill Van Wilpe (rescuer from the USS Bassett) in Wanaque, NJ (just outside of Newark).
As the dates draw closer, I will post the exact times and places of these presentations. Please email me with any questions.
