Sadly, we have just received the news that USS Indianapolis Survivor James Nichols has passed away this week.
Sadly, there are now only 70 living survivors....

Jim was a good man, worker hard as a farmer,never was rich, but away treated everbody fair. I was a neighbor,went to school with his daughter. He never talked about the U.S.S. Indianapolis, it had to be hard carring all of the things he reambered.
