I would appreciate any information from the Survivors regarding my dad. He wasn't on the ship too long before the sinking, but any recollections would be treasured. God bless you all.

I believe we may be distant relatives. My father had given me some family letters that mentions your father being lost on the Indianapols. My deepest sympathy to you and the rest of your family.
I believe they may have been first or second cousins, but do not believe they ever met. My father's grandfather was Frank Paloske. I believe his sister, Theresa, may have been your mother? I belive Theresa had another son George, and 2 daughters - Louise being one.
It would be interesting if you could verify if this is correct. My late uncle, Ernie Andersen mentions speaking to Herman as he submitted for his Chief Warrant Officer rating.
