My Name is Bryan Rivas, My Grandfathers name is Antonio Rivas. He was on the Indianapolis for I believe two years and was sent on leave right befor to the sinking of the ship. I was wondering if any of the survivors remember my grandfather. He just recently past away and I was able to obtain a lot of his writings concerning his time he spent on the Indianapolis. I used to love to listen to him tell me about the ship and his life as a young man. I just want to know if there are any survivors that remember him. I would love to share any stories.
