I remember hearing stories that my uncle passed away during world war II when the ship he was on sank by a torpedo. However, I never new it was the USS Indianopolis until I saw the discovery special concerning sharks yesterday and went to this page and found his name listed as one of the casualties. Unfortunately, I never new him but if anyone can provide me information on what he did on the ship or how he perished that would be great.
Thanks, Andre

I am Andrea from the Philippines, I am a researcher of GMA 7 Philippines TV network.
I am currently searching for a survivor of USS Indianapolis that we can interview for our documentary we are making for I-Witness, GMA7 in Manila Philippines.
