I was in the Navy and went through basic training at Great Lakes (camp moffit) in the summer of 1959 and we had a swim instructor that was an Indy survivor. I am wondering if anyone on this site may know him or remember him. He had a "by line" with us young kids...he always said "courtesy is cheap it doesn't cost a dime so use it..." Does anyone know who this man might have been or are you still around sir??? I would like very much to make contact. I have thought about those days a thousand times.
