I am awe stricken that the Navy has never reconsidered the court martial of Captain McVay.  I believe that anyone who becomes informed about this experience agrees that the blame all lies with the Navy, NONE with the Captain.  It is unfortunate that, if they did ever recognize their guilt, it would be too late for so many of the survivors.

Please contact the Navy and let them know how you feel about this.
