My regrets to the survivors, for the painful memories the ordeal brought into your lives as you tried to carry on after the war, one in which you served with honor, and yet at the cost of horrible sacrifice. My condolences to the families/loved ones/friends of those lost during the ordeal, as you tried/try to pick up the pieces of your lives after losing loved ones. Finally, a moment of silence on my behalf for those still at sea.
