October/November issue of 'COUNTRY' magazine
On page 64, there is a short article written by a lady:
She writes; I'm looking for Diana Kuhn or her family. My brother Homer Orr escorted her during a high school graduation ceremony in Redlands, California. After graduation, he painted a portrait in oils of from her picture in the 1943 High School yearbook.
My brother was on the USS Indianapolis when it sank at the end of WWII. I'd like to give the painting to Diana. She mentioned having a sister named Ines. Does this sound familiar to anyone?
If so, please post a message on here or contact me at IndySecondWatch@aol.com and we can get you in touch with the family!
