I just wanted to say thank you to all the men that served on this great ship! God bless you! Thank you for serving your country above and beyond the call of duty! It was a tragic event that happened to you, yet you helped save many lives by delivering the parts of the bomb that ended the atrocities of the Pacific war. I hope that the remaining days of the survivors are happy and that you can be at peace! To Captain McVay, I feel he was wrongly accused and wrongly prosecuted for something that he could not stop. The navy is at fault for not giving them an escort and the man who denied them any escort and even denied them being late to port was wrong. Thank you again for serving your country!
