I am the son of Aviation Machinist Mate Anthony F. Maday, a survivor who died in 1959 before the first reunion. Would like to obtain copies of any photos of the aircraft, pilots, etc.
Have been trying to locate a gentleman named Daniel C. Brady, who was a member of the V Division and mostly likely knew my father. Several of his photos appear in the Memorial Dedication Booklet from 1995. Any information would be appreciated.

Hi,
I am the 2nd son of W. Newton Jackson who was flight officer on the Indianapolis until he was transferred to Pensacola in December, 1944. I believe that he had been aboard for almost 2 years. I am named for the Indianapolis' radio office Nelson P. Hill who didn't survive the sinking.
My father died in 1998 and he rarely talked about the war and the loss of so many comrades and friends. But when he did talk about the Indianapolis it was always clear that he loved his time on that ship greatly.

Page, My uncle was one of the SOC pilots on the Indy. Is there any way you can identify anyone in the pictures I uploaded?
