On behalf of the USS Indianapolis Second Watch Organization, I have been working with the guys at the Indianapolis Radio League/Monument Services Volunteers (same group of volunteers that so beautifully rejuvenated the USS Indianapolis Memorial) and we have a way for EVERYONE to be part of the Memorial Service this Sunday morning - regardless of where you are in the World!!! It will be shown LIVE on your computer!!!
On Sunday Morning, go to the following link and remember to turn up your volume: http://www.ustream.tv/channel/uss-indianapolis It will show a few seconds of commercials but then the live video will begin. And make sure to click on the 4 arrows on the bottom right side of the video....it will be shown in FULL SCREEN!!!
The video will begin this Sunday morning, August 1st. The Memorial Service begins at 9am EASTERN time, but they likely go live on the camera about 30 minutes before that service begins to show people arriving. (Tune in at 8:30am if you are in Eastern Time Zone)
Just make sure you tune in at your own time zone's corresponding time which is below:
Central Daylight time, will start at 8am (7:30am camera begins to roll)
Mountain Time, will start at 7 am (6:30am camera begins to roll)
Pacific Time, will start at 6am (5:30am camera begins to roll)

Maria- thanks for arranging this! I clicked on the link and saw the two video segments. The first one has no audio and the second one (with the actual ceremony), cuts off before all of the guys have even entered the monument area. Are there more segments? I would love to post this for others to see who couldn't attend.
