My uncle, Dewell Talley, was a radioman who didn't survive. His brother, my Dad, passed away when I was a teen, and Uncle Dewell was lost before I was born. There are few family members left who can talk with me about him, and I wish to learn about him to tell my daughter and grandboys. If anyone remembers him, please share your memories. Thanks.
I'd recommend "In Harm's Way" which tells the story of the sinking in detail. There is some bad language, but you may be able to gather something about what may have happened. You also might want to contact some survivors to see if they knew him or at least what he might have gone through as a radioman.
