I serve on a committee at Lansing Community College in Lansing, Michigan, which honors veterans and educates the community on military/veteran acheivements and various actions or incidents. We are trying to find any living survivors of the Indianapolis tragedy in our area or their families so that we could recognize and honor them. We have a very worthy display on the campus and the annual ceremony takes place on Veteran's day.
