My Dad, John B. Gordon, was aboard the USS Bassett APD-73, and assisted in the rescue of the USS Indianapolis. He will be 96 years young on Sept. 23. God willing, we plan to attend next year's reunion. He was at an earlier reunion about 3 years ago and had a wonderful time and was invited to join in a book signing.
We would like to know ifthere will be a Rescue adn Recovery Reunion in 2012.
