I am a senior history major at Pfeiffer University in North Carolina.  I decided to write my senior research paper on the Indianapolis.  I am finishing up my rough draft right now.  I hope that the paper turns out well, although it has been much more of a pleasure reading about the ordeal than writing about it!  I really want to be able to come to the reunion with my father next year.  He was born on the exact day that the sailors were rescued, Aug. 2, 1945. 

Please keep me updated about the reunion!  Is the reunion a public event?  I look forward to meeting some of the survivors, if possible!
