I'm sure many of you have seen and shared the WWII tribute "Before you go", but it is such a moving tribute that I hope no one is bothered by seeing the link one more time: http://www.beforeyougo.us/play_byg
Our WWII vets are passing quickly, we have little time left to hear their words and learn their lessons. The numerous websites that have recorded these are many, but while you still can, reach out to those who have given so much, and give them one more "thanks" and salute. They will always be our greatest generation.
Almost every year, a Chief Induction time, the story of the USS Indianapolis is studied and discussed as a reminder of the great obligation we have to protect our ships and our Sailors.
