I have been reading the book based on the "USS Indianapolis", and I cannot begin to imagine what any one of you men went through. It makes me really sad to know that this happened, and you were out there for five days! It makes you wonder why these things happen at all. I just wanted all of you to know that I am so incredibly inspired by your Bravery, and Courage that each of you had during this unimaginable tragedy. I love my Country too, but many of the men aboard that ship gave their life for it! All of the people aboard the USS Indianapolis on that day are the reasons we all have what we have in this Country of ours... The United States of America THANKS YOU...
