Reading the Newcomb book Abandon Ship!, feeling awed, humbled and angry all at the same time for what the Indianapolis crew went through during and after this ordeal. Father was an officer aboard the USS Honolulu and saw lots of action in the Pacific '42-'45, so have the highest respect for everyone in the Navy that fought and survived WWII, and for those who didn't make it. Unbelievable story to read, cannot even imagine living through it.
