On Monday, November 9, 2015, Survivor Dick Thelen along with his son Dave, and USS Indianapolis Board Members Mark Smith and Tom Curran, presented the story of the ship to Greentown, IN middle school, high school and community, in 3 separate meetings that day. We were graciously hosted by the Greentown Library, head librarian Renda Hurst and her staff and family. The kids lined up after each talk to meet Dick, take selfie photos with him and he even got a few hugs!
