More sad news today, within just 24 hours.... Another survivor, Paul McGinnis of West Virginia passed away.
He just celebrated his 90th birthday in December.
Such a sweet and humble hero. Please keep him and his family in your thoughts and prayers. Rest in peace, gone but never forgotten.
There are now only 25 living survivors of the Sinking of the USS Indianapolis. We have lost 10 in the past year, and 6 of those in just the past 15 weeks. The youngest is turning 89 this year and the oldest is now 94.
