Hi Mr Sassman,
As chairman of the USS Indianapolis Second Watch Organization, I sadly do not have any information about Rex Sassman (I'm assuming his name was Gordon W?) I have not been contacted by any family members yet, so if you are related to him, I'm happy to have heard from you now! Please feel free to email me at BullardMBullard@aol.com. Our organization is the next generation of the final sailing crew. Our mission lis to perpetuate the story and join together to ensure the legacy entrusted to us is never forgotten. Looking forward to hearing from you or any other Lost At Sea family members that may be reading this post.
