I spoke to Harlan and his son before the hurricane made landfall and they were doing well and had an evacuation plan. The phone service down there isn't back up to par.

That's good. I hope they are still doing okay.

Sadly, I received a call from Harlan's son yesterday with the news that Harlan has passed away. What a wonderful, humble hero.
