My grandaddy tells me stories about his cousin, Eldon Ernest Pagitt and how he was his hero as a child in Oklahoma. He says Mr. Paggit played the role of "big brother" in his upbringing.

Although Mr. Paggit is a distant relative of mine I still feel great pride in being related to a crew member of the USS Indianapolis.

Does anyone remember Eldon Ernest Pagitt?

I'm also giving a speech on the USS Indianapolis in class this week. I know this is a long shot but if anyone would be up for an interview, through e-mail or phone,  I would greatly appreciate it.

God Bless Shipmates.

Hi Brandon,
I have contact information for a lady whose brother was friends of your uncles aboard ship. Her brother was Lost At Sea also, but perhaps she can give you more information about your uncle. Email me on my personal email account (BullardMBullard@aol.com) and I will put you in touch with her!
