Just watched the Discovery show about the USS Indianapolis

Let me allow my ignorance show for a moment.  I had no idea what the Indie and her crew really experienced during that fateful sailing. 

To the Captain, his crew, the families of the survivors and the deceased-you are amazing men and I thank you for your service.  May I offer my love and respect to all of you and hope that someday, I am blessed enough to meet one of you.
