I have been contacted by a sister of crewmember HA1 Homer L. Orr. She has two paintings that Homer did, one of the the Battle of Okinawa and one from he Battle of Iwo Jima. Homer of course went down with the Indianapolis on her final mission. R.I.P.

I believe that these pieces have historical value. I haven't seen them. She isn't sure what to do with them. She would like to have them restored, but hasn't the funds to do that properly.

Any ideas and/or contacts out there would be greatly appreciated.
