he was 24 had been in 10 naval actions his mothers maiden name was henrietta wheeler.

Hi. I am the chairman of the USS Indianapolis CA-35 Second Watch Organization (the next generation). Do you happen to have any more information about your relative - hometown, last name, etc?

I have found that his name is Allen Charles Streich and he came from Mishawaka,Indiana.

I have received his records from the US Archive but sadly there was no photo among them.
