Survivors to attend Indy Air Show in August

Several of the Survivors of the Sinking of the USS Indianapolis will be attending the Indianapolis Air Show August 25 & 26.  They will be autographing their books, and selling caps & "USS Indianapolis-Still At Sea" memorial wristbands

I understand there may be a reception or gathering today at the war memorial in Indianapolis which will debut some items for the USS Indianapolis museum. Do you have any info? I would like to attend and visit, and purchase some items supporting survivors and families. Thanks, Mike Allison

Thank you, the memorial office did confirm that a presentation was scheduled for today open to the public beginning at 5pm. Details were not available but they are attempting to get some info to me, and I will post any additional info I receive. Mike
