Honor to all...
Permalink Closed

I am humbled by the courage and strength of the survivors of the U.S.S. Indianapolis.  I cannot overstate my gratitude for their service and those that gave their lives in that unforgiving sea.  I pay respect and homage to not only these young (now not so) men, but to all the young men and women who have so bravely risked, and lost, their lives for this great nation.  Thank-you to all.

Let us not forget that as we contemplate the valor of these WWII survivors, there are young men and women around the world, as we read these words, who are committed to improving the quality of life.  We may not always like what we hear on the nightly news or read in the papers, but remember the only true facts about our military action can come from those directly involved--not the media.  And also, most importantly, whether we agree or disagree with what we hear from the media, it is our duty as citizens of this great nation to support and honor all, past and present, for their duty and service.
   Thank-you,
      Beth

I found this website to be a tribute to these brave men. I was able to share some of the story of the Indianapolis with my thirteen year old daughter, after watching the discovery channel documentary.
Thank you.
