My father Ray Keith La Grange was a survivor of the USS Indianaplis, but is not on the list. I have emailed  this site to make the change, My father was a coxwaine, (sorry if spelled wrong) he didn't speak of those days often but he was horrified by the trial of his Captain. he did tell be about the days on the water and how lucky he was to be in a raft and how the screams continued to haunt him until his passing 4 years ago.  If anyone new my father I would love to hear from you. He lived a great life I think I kept him young as he was 51 when I was born. Now 31, I want to make sure my kids know how proud of him I am and that the grandfather they never got to meet was a hero, going into the war at 17 years of age, he went in as a boy and came out a man. I loved him very much and would love to hear from anyone. Thank you!

Suzanne.
