As a fund of the Grand Traverse Regional Community Foundation, the USS Indianapolis/Gwinn "Angel" Scholarship is administrated by the Foundation in coordination with an advisory committee and the Second Watch.   (Second Watch is an organization of family members, friends and supporters of the men of the USS Indianapolis CA-35.)

The Scholarship is available to descendants of survivors, honorary survivors, lost at sea or rescue crew.   Information about submitting an application is in the attached newsletter, as well as information about the history of the program and recent recipients.  It is our hope that through the younger generation, the legacy of the USS Indianapolis Final Sailing Crew will never be forgotten.

Copies of the newsletter will be mailed by the Foundation to those addresses that are on file.
