I would like to personally thank you for your service to America. I am 47 years old and am fortunate enough to have not seen my generation been subject to the horror of war. But, I watch and absorb film and documentaries of what past generations of brave americans have sacrificied in order for our great country to remain free!! I truly salute the brave men and women of WW2 who unselfishly put their lives on the line for my generation to enjoy the freedoms and lifestyles so many of us take for granted. I thank you from the bottom of my heart for the heroism the the crew of the Indianapolis.........and all other WW2 veterans exhibited so that future generations could enjoy the freedoms living in the USA has bestowed upon us. If their are any surviving members of the USS Indianapolis living close to the FT Wayne, IN area........I would like to thank you in person!!!!!!!!!!!! Please contact me at this forum!!!!!!!
