Just finished reading the book, "In Harm's Way" and can't get the tragedy off my mind. I go to bed and wake up thinking about it.  The story had me surfing the internet to find out more about those that didn't survive, the survivors, their storiers and the unfair court-martial of CPT McVay and your years of trying to overturn that decision. The sacrifice these men had and will to survive is more than humbling.  I cannot imaging the horror they went through and the acts of unselfishness they exemplified to try and keep other fellow sailors alive.  Your true heroism will always stay alive in me.    As a nurse caring for wounded soldiers and after reading this book I have come away with a greater understanding of what war does to those that are smack in the middle of it.  The physical and emotional pain that they all go through.  To all our men and women who so sacrificially give and have given to our USA I sincerely thank you with my whole heart.
