Undying Gratitude

I recently read, once again, an account of a suvivor of the USS Indianapolis tragedy.  I was profoundly moved by the adversities those men suffered and reminded again of the tremedous sacrifices thousands have made to secure the freedoms I have today.  My Dad also served with honor in the US Navy in WWII and was fortunate never to be injured.  I served in the Navy during Vietman, and my son is currently in his senior year at the United States Naval Academy, and will be commissioned next May.  So I have a profound appreciation for all who have served, and continue to serve, this country protecting our liberties and keeping us safe.
